Mechanical Waves require a medium in which to travel. Examples
include sound waves. Mechanical waves can be further broken
down into 3 types:
- Transverse Waves
- Longitudinal Waves
- Surface Waves

Do not require a medium in which to travel. Examples include Light
or Radio waves.
